Top 5 Movies
1. Back To The Future - greatest movie ever made, i'd put the trilogy here as well but just doing single movies......but 2 and 3 would make the top 10
2. Jurassic Park - dinosaurs and dr. grant. plus i was at the perfect age....this was the movie that showed me "movie magic" and started my love of movies
3. Gladiator - one of my favorite subjects made into one of the best movies ever. i still remember to this day, brett and i walked in not knowing much and walked out in silence. Maximus is the biggest badass of all time.
4. Dumb & Dumber - THE funniest movie ever. Every line is gold.....seriously, go back and watch it and i bet you hear a new joke. I gave a 5 minute presentation in a communications class on why everyone should watch this. Got a 100%. True story.
5. Shaun of the Dead - this one surprised me that it'd be in the top 5 but think about it : a romantic zombie comedy? GOLD. the perfect mix of comedy and horror.

Matt's Movie Reviews - Quick Hits
Hey Peoples,
Gonna bang out some quicker reviews since between work and a 1 year old, longer reviews are just tougher. [read: lazy]
Get Him To The Greek -a movie way funnier than I expected. Lauren and I laughed out loud throughout. Very funny, good music, and an actually really funny performance by P.Diddy aka Diddy aka Puff Daddy aka Puffy aka Diddy Dirty Money. KEEP RUBBING THE FUR!!!!!! 8/10
The Other Guys - not quite as solid as Greek but still pretty funny. Ferrell and Walhberg are great together however the real performance here was from Mr. Michael Keaton. Good god that man has amazing comedic timing. Don't go changing waterfalls. 6.5/10
The Descent:Part 2 - Lauren and I watched this straight to dvd sequel basically because The Descent is one of the top 3 scariest movies I've ever seen. The sequel? Not so much. Some good gore but other than that.......eh. 4/10
Whip It - good movie. great music, juno isn't annoying, maybe (from arrested development) is funny, drew barrymore (who directed it) is stoned and injured the whole movie, kristen wiig is great, jimmy fallon is great, and the coach steals the show. plus its got Marv from Home Alone. WIN. 7.5/10
The Human Centipede:First Sequence - i mean......what else can i really say? either you're gonna sit down and watch a movie about a crazy surgeon obsessed with attaching people ass to mouth to make a human centipede.....or your not. clearly i fall in the former category and i dug it. really not that gory.......but can be a bit tough to watch at times. 7/10
The Good The Bad The Weird - ok this movie was BAD-ASS. a sprawling Korean western. 2 hours of gun fights, robberies, and kung fu. awesome. one of the best action/adventure movies i have every seen. This needed to be released in the US. 10/10
Exit Through The Gift Shop - an awesome documentary about the underground art world and the infamously secret "Banksy". If you're unfamiliar with who Banksy is, stop reading and google. Awesome right? Well.....not all your questions will be answered and you certainly won't know who Banksy is (who does??), but it will be a very entertaining time. 8/10
The King of Kong-A Fistful of Quarters - i watched this before awhile ago but just recently enjoyed it again. this is a great documentary on 2 guys fighting to become the best at Donkey Kong. granted, being a guy who grew up with Mario and Donkey probably helped, but Lauren loved it as well. I swear it has some of the funniest, shocking, emotional scenes you see in any movie any year. And one of the most "is he real????" villains ever. 10/10
It Might Get Loud - own this one. Jimmy Page, The Edge, and Jack White in a room together with their guitars.
